Angela Farrior (pronounce “ferry-er”) is a visual artist living and working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her current studio practice includes painting, mixed media, and printmaking work.

Much of her work features Black women with braided hairstyles because the expression of Blackness through braids connects the historical and cultural experiences of Black people throughout the African Diaspora.
